1. How much do lessons cost?

All our lessons are $20 per half-hour. We ask that all our students pay by the month.

We recommend beginner students take half-hour lessons. Students who are more advanced are welcome to enroll in hour lessons.

9. Why do you emphasize performance in your lessons?

One of the most enjoyable parts of being a musician is performing for an audience. We feel it is important for a students to experience the thrill of performing as it can provide students with heightened enthusiasm and confidence that comes with overcoming obstacles and accomplishing goals.

10. How do music lessons benefit students?

There have been many studies that have shown learning to play an instrument can positively affect children in a wide range of areas outside of music, including language and reasoning development, spatial intelligence, creative problem solving, improved academic performance, empathy and compassion, craftsmanship, the value of sustained effort, teamwork skills, self-esteem, self-expression and overcoming fears. 11. How often should I practice?

Students should practice daily in order to get the most out of their lessons. Given the physical and mental demands of learning an instrument, repetition and regularity are essential to improving your playing ability. Even the best players in the world still practice every day.

12. How long does it take to learn guitar, bass, drums, singing etc… ?

How long it takes to learn an instrument depends greatly on how often a student practices. The more time you spend playing your instrument, and learning incresingly complex pieces, the quicker you will get better. How good you want to be at the instrument also affects how long it may take it accomplish that. While it may take only weeks to begin playing your favorite songs, it has often been said that it takes 10,000 hours of practice to master an instrument.
